Linda McMullen is a strong advocate for her students and families.
Her depth and breadth of experience, and her caring and compassion, have made her an essential component of our children's
educational successes. In the 5-6 years that we have known Linda, she has become an invaluable resource to our family
as our children have grown from middle-schoolers to college students.
We have worked with
Linda as we have sought educational situations for both of our children. Initially, as our daughter was finishing middle
school at a local private day school, we approached Linda for help in determining whether she should attend a local public
high school or go to a boarding school. We felt strongly that our daughter should own the decision, so that she would
feel personal responsibility for the success of her education.
She worked with Linda to select a group of schools to make application, and we are convinced that the decision-making
was made much easier because of her interaction with Linda. When the time came to apply to colleges, we again turned
to Linda. In both instances, Linda was extremely supportive of our daughter's decisions, while at the same time providing
professional guidance that our daughter has clearly respected.
Our son is two years younger than our daughter. We again sought our Linda's guidance and she helped us determine
the nature of his learning differences. Linda was extremely supportive in helping us realize that he needed the type
of educational environment that is available at a specialized school. Linda identified potential schools and contacted
admissions persons in his behalf to insure a successful match. She repeated the same procedure when it came time for
him to apply to a 9-12 boarding school.
We
have appreciated Linda's input in all our school decisions. She has been willing to meet with our children on an on-going
basis. Linda has always shown special interest in how they are doing in school. She has encouraged them to contact
her if there are any issues that they feel they need to discuss with someone other than their parents, and Linda has responded
with guidance on many occasions.
Overall, we have nothing
but positive things to say about Linda. She has really facilitated the entire school choice situation and has given
us advice as we tried to sort through related issues. She has truly become not only an insightful advisor, but also
a family friend.

Beach Week Parents
Our daughter had an incredible week! The
staff tailored their instruction to her specific needs. For example, the counselors identified exactly how my daughter
was reading and taught her how to significantly increase both the pace and comprehension of written material. Every
counselor was very gifted in his/her respective area.
The camp is so much more than learning how to take the SAT or how to write an application essay. Although these
are extremely important, it proved a week about learning about your whole self and sets the stage for building a firm foundation
for the future.
My only regret is that my spouse and I did not send our older daughter to "Summer Camp" when she was still
in high school!

I have meant to write for some time to let you know that my twins have
both done very well following their SAT preparation course with you. My daughter is now a freshman at Oberlin
College, and my son is a freshman at the University of Chicago.
The following summer their cousins also attended your course. One is now at Duke University and the other is
at the University of Georgia.
